Dèitra (Dee) is a native Chicago girl who now splits her time between the Midwest and Florida. Besides traveling, she's an avid reader, patron of the arts, and never misses an opportunity to get crafty. With a Master's degree, she's the go-to person in her circle for a sturdy shoulder in tough situations. She’s here to show love and listen to those who need an ear. With an open heart and a virtual hug, her style kinda feels like home or the good friend you didn't know you needed. She’d love to walk with you through the challenges and successes.

Kelsee is a Midwest native but is passionate about serving NYC. In her free time she loves getting involved in the arts and escaping upstate to find a new hiking trail. While finishing her Master's degree, Kelsee has dedicated her work to empowering clients to find stable grounding rooted in their values and walking alongside them to take control over their lives. After facing an unexpected pregnancy herself as a teenager, she never wants anyone to feel alone in their journey.

Nohemi es bilingüe en English y Español. She enjoys watching Korean dramas, reading her favorite books, caring for her plants, and cooking delicious meals. With her master's degree, she prioritizes listening to clients’ stories. Pat lives in NYC, and enjoys fishing, football, and exploring the city. Pat is passionate about walking alongside others as they face difficult and challenging seasons in their lives. No matter what clients are going through, Pat is available to listen to their stories and encourage them along the way.

Sean Q.

Available Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. Sean has lived in NYC since he was 17 y puede hablar español con fluidez. He enjoys getting to know people from all around the world while walking around in the city. After his own journey of learning to struggle with the painful realities of life, he respects his clients who do the same. His goal is to give them access to the tools to fight whatever they're dealing with.

Heidi J.

Available Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. Heidi is a native New Yorker who is passionate about bodily well-being and spends her free time skiing and hiking. Her own experiences have inspired her to pioneer many of the programs at Avail. She has worked with clients for over 17 years and loves meeting each woman with empathy, helping her move forward from pain to healing, despair to hope.

Liz P.

Available Tuesdays only. Liz is a coffee enthusiast who also likes to speak Italian, go on adventures, and create works of art. Her sociology degree helps her understand the complicated realities facing the women she gets to meet, and she feels deeply honored to get to enter their stories. Her highest priority is to offer them a safe space in the midst of a challenging time.

Jacqueline J.

Jacqueline is a recently-retired Registered Professional Nurse after 50+ years of service in the health care industry. As a nurse, spiritual care was always an integral part of her treatment and care. She has been passionate about women's health related issues throughout her career. She also has a Master of Divinity and just graduated from the Institue of Clinical Pastoral Training. Now, as a board-certified Nurse Chaplain, Jacqueline believes that merging her nursing experience with Chaplaincy will enhance her ability to assist individuals with an inner reconciliation as they move towards healing of their whole person.

Chelsea N.

Chelsea is happiest picnicking and people-watching in Central Park or hanging out with friends through game nights, makeup tutorials, and Saturday brunches. She has a master's degree and especially cares about helping those who have faced trauma. She admires the courage and vulnerability of her clients and hopes they will see that there are beautiful things ahead for them.
